Required Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience preferred.
Associate s or higher college degree.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise routing and switching.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS-XE and Catalyst switching platforms.
Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting.
Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Cisco ISE, including RADIUS, 802.1X, MAB, EAP-TLS, authentication, authorization, and Active Directory integration.
Hands-on experience designing and supporting Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela, including vManage and centralized/localized policies.
Strong enterprise wireless experience, preferably with Cisco Catalyst wireless controllers and access points.
Hands-on experience administering Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
Experience with firewall security policies, NAT, application identification, threat prevention, network segmentation, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Cisco SDA/Software-Defined Access.
Experience with Cisco TrustSec/SGT.
Strong understanding of enterprise network security principles.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently.
Experience working within formal change-management and production-support processes.
Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
CCNP Enterprise or higher.
Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or equivalent hands-on Palo Alto experience.
Cisco certifications related to ISE, wireless, Catalyst Center, or SD-WAN.
Experience with Cisco SDA/Software-Defined Access.
Experience with Cisco TrustSec/SGT.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS-XE and NX-OS operating systems.
Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus data center switching, including vPC, VRFs, VLANs, port-channels, Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding, and routing.
Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, STP, EtherChannel/port-channels, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting.
Experience with network automation using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Experience with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
Experience with enterprise network monitoring and management platforms.
Experience in large, distributed, highly available enterprise environments.
