This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

The IT Manager is responsible for the oversight of coordination of execution and performance of the IT Finance Automation Platform Team to support the Accounting and Treasury technical solutions. They work with peers and their direct reports to continuously improve the outcomes of the Platform via refinement of the documentation artifacts, business engagement, and delivery practices of the team. The IT Manager possesses demonstrated leadership skills, is an active thought partner and application visionary who shapes the technology demand among the business community.

The ideal candidate is someone who is/has:
  • Confident self-starter capable of setting plans, driving projects to completion
  • A team leader with experience leading Agile development and support teams.
  • Excellent facilitation and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience translating technical concepts and decisions to non-technical staff. Must be able to interact with all areas of business.
  • Experienced with financial services industry, Accounting and Treasury, ideally within Private Equity.
  • Software Engineering experience, or management of engineers
  • Experience in handling vendor relationships and leading near-shore and off-shore teams
  • Solid attention to detail, focus on execution of tasks, and adaptability to meet changing timelines and priorities.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to align system improvements with organizational goals
What you will do:
  • Liaise between senior leadership and technical teams for Finance Platform's Accounting and Treasury systems, such as, Adaptive Planning, qashqade & FIS Integrity
  • Partner with Product Management teams, including Platform Owners and Business Product Owners to prioritize backlogs, refine roadmaps, and maintain dependencies across applications and critical initiatives.
  • Plan and complete technology projects, adhering to standard methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in automation, data integrity, and system performance across finance platforms.
  • Lead a support team consisting of Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Developers and QA Testers
  • Manage third party software vendors to provide application support; Collaborate with support partners to mature Application Managed Services model.
  • Act as an intermediary between the business and the technical community working with project teams and business partners to collect, clarify, and translate business requests into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed.
  • Handle the prioritized work for both build and run.
What you bring:
  • Ability to be hands on with solving and executing problems.
  • Experience with agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Previous experience as a people leader required.
  • A data driven mentality and ability to apply data to drive process improvement
  • Experience with financial applications, such as, Adaptive Planning, qashqade, Integrity, Great Plains and efront; including experience handling critical transactional and reporting applications.
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Good interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • Experience within Microsoft Power Suite (Apps, BI, Automate), MS SQL Studio, Azure DevOps, Synapse and Snowflake is a plus.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
Experience
  • 5-8 Years of experience within the financial services industry, with at least three years in a leadership position preferred

Salary Range
$120,000.00 - $180,000.00
This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography.
