Senior Rhapsody Developer (Remote Role)

About this Position:

Responsibilities:

• System Documentation: Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation for both new and existing processes.

• Requirements & Analysis: Collaborate with end users to conduct gap analysis, gather functional requirements, and design necessary workflows.

• Project Management: Plan and implement project milestones to completion while providing time estimates and status reporting.

• ETL & SQL Development: Create advanced SQL queries and implement ETL solutions for process automation and data transformation.

• Rhapsody Route Engineering: Develop and update Rhapsody routes to process data for testing, lab, surveillance systems, and CDC reporting.

• Data Transformation: Transform various formats (XML, CSV, SOAP, HL7) using Rhapsody, Symphonia, and JavaScript (ECMA/E4X).

• Surveillance Integration: Format data into Conduent Maven Integration Format (MIF) for Disease Surveillance System imports and manage Web Service calls.

• System Monitoring: Utilize Rhapsody Web Management Console to monitor production data flow, resolve processing issues, and reprocess errors.

• Infrastructure Support: Manage Rhapsody upgrades, environment configurations, and data migrations to ensure maximum system uptime.

• Quality & Mentorship: Lead code reviews, implement security-compliant rewrites, and mentor staff on onboarding partners for HL7, ELR, and eCR services.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• 5+ YEARS V6+ RHAPSODY INTEGRATION ENGINE.

• 5+ YEARS SYMPHONIA MAPPING LANGUAGE (SML).

• 5+ YEARS HL7 (SUCH AS V 2.3.1 - 2.5.1; ORU & ORM MESSAGE TYPES).

• 2+ YEARS XML / XSD / XPATH.

• 3+ YEARS SQL ADVANCED JOIN STATEMENTS.

• 5+ YEARS JAVASCRIPT.

• 2+ YEARS SOAP WEB SERVICES.

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• WINDOWS OS SERVER ADMINISTRATION.

• PUBLIC HEALTH / DISEASE SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS / LIMS EXPERIENCE.

• EXCEL / VBA MACROS / AUTOMATE & FLOW.

• LOINC / SNOMED.

• DEVOPS / JIRA.

• REDCAP.

• FASTQ FILES AND DEMULTIPLEXING.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• RHAPSODY CERTIFICATION.
