Summary
What is Expected:
In-depth knowledge of SSO integration patterns (not just basic Okta/Ping experience).
Ability to distinguish between application issues vs SSO issues.
Strong troubleshooting skills for protocols like SAML, OAuth, OIDC.
Good communication skills for interacting with leaders and application teams.
On-call support: Once every 4 6 weeks, 9 AM 9 PM EST including weekends.
Must-Have Skills:
Minimum 3 4 years in core SSO tools and integrations (not just generic IAM).
Solid hands-on experience with SSO tools (Okta, Ping, or similar).
Deep understanding of SSO protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC.
Experience in production support for mission-critical systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management.
