An organization in the aviation industry is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Cloud Developer in Fort Worth, TX to design, build, and support enterprise-scale applications in a hybrid environment. This role combines hands-on software engineering with cloud development, modern frontend work, and production support for large-scale systems.
About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and document technical solutions in accordance with organizational standards.
Build and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
Develop cloud-based solutions and support deployment in Azure and Kubernetes environments.
Optimize applications and system designs for performance, resiliency, reliability, and incremental delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and deliver scalable solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
7-9 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, cloud technologies, Azure, and Kubernetes.
Experience with object-oriented design principles and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in the airline industry.
Familiarity with Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, GitHub, Azure DevOps, REST, GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and test automation tools.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications across multiple teams.
Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly in writing, verbally, and through diagrams.
