Position overview

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead a Tricentis Tosca test automation implementation for a major public transportation organization.

The Engagement Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between Metrolink and the implementation team, ensuring the project is delivered on schedule, risks are properly managed, and all deliverables meet client expectations.

The role requires a professional who understands software quality assurance, test automation projects, client governance, and the complexities of working with public-sector or regulated organizations.

Key responsibilities

·         Own the overall project delivery, governance, execution schedule, and stakeholder communication.

·         Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, resource assignments, and delivery schedules.

·         Conduct weekly status meetings with Metrolink and internal implementation teams.

·         Maintain risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, and escalation procedures.

·         Coordinate the Tosca installation, configuration, training, pilot testing, and acceptance activities.

·         Work closely with the Lead Automation Architect and technical engineers to track implementation progress.

·         Manage dependencies related to lab access, environments, client approvals, and test data.

·         Facilitate acceptance reviews and obtain formal client sign-off on completed deliverables.

·         Coordinate handover activities and transition to post-go-live support.

Mandatory requirements

·         Proven experience managing software QA, test automation, or testing transformation projects.

·         Strong client-facing delivery management and stakeholder communication.

·         Experience managing schedules, resources, risks, issues, and acceptance processes.

·         Understanding SDLC, STLC, Agile/Waterfall delivery, and software quality assurance.

·         Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams.

·         US-based and willing to travel or work onsite in Pomona/Los Angeles.

Preferred qualifications

·         PMP certification.

·         Previous delivery of Tricentis Tosca, enterprise test automation, or similar QA platform implementations.

·         Public sector, transportation, rail, utilities, healthcare, aerospace, or other regulated industry experience.

·         Experience managing software vendors and system integrators.

·         Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar delivery tools.
