Role Objective:
We are currently seeking a SQL Database Administrator who will support the data backbone behind the training, security, and operational systems for a long term government contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security in Brunswick, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
- Design and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Ensure database availability, performance, and integrity.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies.
- Support modernization and performance optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate with application and systems teams.
Education and Years of Experience:
- 5+ years SQL Server hands-on experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related field (advanced degree preferred) OR equivalent experience
- SQL Server 2012 experience
- Design & implementation experience in SQL Server 2012
