Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist to perform advanced microbiological and molecular analyses on clinical specimens. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with culture techniques, PCR, sequencing, and pathogen identification, along with a strong understanding of CLIA regulations and laboratory quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing including culture, biochemical tests, EIA, PCR, WGS
• Identify pathogens such as Salmonella, E. coli, Shigella, Vibrio, Listeria, Campylobacter
• Conduct nucleic acid extraction (manual & automated methods)
• Utilize advanced techniques: PCR, sequencing, MALDI-TOF, WGS
• Ensure compliance with CLIA quality control & quality assurance standards
• Maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation
• Analyze, interpret, and validate laboratory results
• Assist in epidemiological and statistical reporting
• Maintain inventory and ensure lab readiness

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Biology preferred)
• Minimum 2+ years of laboratory experience
• Knowledge of microbiology principles and molecular biology techniques
• Experience with high complexity testing environments
• Strong understanding of CLIA regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Molecular Biology Laboratory
• Hands-on experience with PCR, sequencing, WGS

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
