Title : 100% Remote Senior SAP PP/DS Solution Architect

Job Description:

• We need profiles with strong hands-on SAP PPDS experience.
• Please avoid sending candidates who only have PP or QM experience
• Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)- It is a key component part of SAP S/4HANA Advanced Planning used for detailed capacity planning, scheduling, heuristics, and optimizing production orders.
• PPDS (and not just PP) is the critical need here – this is a key part of SAP S/4HANA Advanced Planning.
• To help with accurate candidate screening, here is a quick clarification on the difference between ePP/DS and DSC Edition PP/DS, as our end client is using DSC Edition PP/DS. However, genuine PP/DS experience (either DSC Edition or embedded) is fine.
• ePP/DS (Embedded PP/DS): Fully embedded inside the main S/4HANA system
• DSC Edition PP/DS: PP/DS runs on a separate S/4HANA side car system. Integrated with ECC using CIF.

Pre-screen questions you'd like for the Suppliers to ask potential candidates –

• Exclusive Production Planning solutions (SAP PPDS ) experience as Consultant level. (REQUIRED)
• Experience with at least 1 Implementation (REQUIRED)
• PPDS Setup Optimizer implementation experience (REQUIRED)
• PPDS BAdi enhancement experience (REQUIRED)
• APO ABAP experience is a plus
• No support profiles. Candidates need to have the hands-on experience.

REQUIRED:

• 10 – 15 Yrs Manufacturing/Automotive domain experience preferred.
• In depth experience in SAP – Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities - interactive production planning, Detailed scheduling, Pegging, Production Planning table, Planning board, constraint-based planning, Model Mix Planning, Multilevel Scheduling and sequencing is required.
• Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP ePP/DS) in an Automotive or any discrete manufacturing industry is required.
• Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management) is desired
• Experience in Cross-Location Planning, Automated Responses to changes in planning situation Multi-Level Constraint based Production Plan, Sub-daily Buckets, Telescopic Time Buckets, Time Dependent Safety Stock is required
• Experience in Automotive manufacturing or Repetitive manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional social skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of team members at all levels of the organization.

• Understand customer, translate business needs to definition and design also cascade effectively to offshore team to get the work done effectively and timely

Education -

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
