Location: Seattle, Washington (Onsite)
Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a Product Developer for a contract position. This role supports the Retail Beverage Development team, which is responsible for introducing new beverages to market. The position is lab-focused and involves working with cross-functional partners to ensure product quality and readiness for market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily lab work including measurements, chemical testing (pH, acidity), product evaluations, and shelf-life studies.
- Prepare, test, and document beverage samples for internal teams and sensory panels.
- Perform yield and loss calculations and other analytical assessments to support product qualification.
- Support product innovation and development projects for Canada and LATAM markets.
- Assist with ingredient conversions, reformulations, and resiliency initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, test records, and lab data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including R&D, commercialization, quality, and operations.
- Monitor lab inventory, equipment, and sample storage.
- Conduct trend and flavor research, with a focus on LATAM consumer preferences.
- Participate in team tastings, sensory sessions, and technical reviews.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A background in Food Science, Food Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required.
Technical Skills: Candidates must have strong documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish is a nice-to-have skill.
