SQL Developer

Hiring: W2 Candidates Only

Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers

• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis

• Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, views, and data models

• Support reporting and analytics teams with data extraction and transformation logic

• Troubleshoot database-related issues and ensure system reliability

• Implement data validation and integrity controls

• Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions

• Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching support

• Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards

• Document database processes, logic, and technical specifications

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer

• Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, indexing)

• Experience with relational databases such as:

  • SQL Server

  • Oracle

  • MySQL

  • PostgreSQL

• Experience writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers

• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization

• Experience with ETL processes and data transformations

• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps, etc.)

• Understanding of database security and access control

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts

• Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS)

• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell)

• Experience in Agile development environments
