Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Junior Technical Support & Coordinator Specialist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in commercial refrigeration while gaining hands-on experience with CO? condensing units-an innovative and environmentally friendly refrigeration technology.

Working alongside experienced technical specialists and project managers, you will assist with equipment installations, technical support, troubleshooting, and project coordination. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers, and developing technical expertise in a fast-growing industry.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Support & Customer Assistance
  • Assist customers and contractors with the installation and startup of CO? condensing units under the guidance of senior technical staff.
  • Support remote and on-site troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, escalating more complex issues when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining technical documentation, installation guides, and troubleshooting resources.
  • Participate in product training to build technical knowledge of CO? refrigeration systems.

Project Coordination
  • Support the coordination of installation schedules, project timelines, and customer deliverables.
  • Track project progress and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Communicate project updates with internal teams, contractors, and customers.
  • Assist senior managers with project planning and administrative tasks to help ensure successful project completion.

Continuous Learning & Process Improvement
  • Gather customer feedback and identify recurring technical issues for review by senior team members.
  • Stay up to date on CO? refrigeration products, industry standards, and company procedures.
  • Contribute ideas to improve technical support processes and customer documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing technical and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, or technical support roles (including apprenticeships, internships, or co-op experience).
  • Basic understanding of refrigeration or HVAC systems; willingness to learn CO? refrigeration technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software systems.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50-60% of the time, approximately 25-35 weeks per year).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications
  • HVAC/Refrigeration education, trade certification, or related technical diploma.
  • Familiarity with commercial refrigeration equipment or natural refrigerants.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration safety practices and industry standards.
  • Experience providing customer service or technical support.

Working Conditions
  • Frequent travel to customer sites for installation support, equipment startup, and troubleshooting.
  • Occasional after-hours support for urgent customer needs.
  • Work involves moderate physical activity, including lifting equipment, working around refrigeration systems, and using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Combination of office, warehouse, and field environments.
