Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer with hands-on experience in securing AWS and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing cloud security best practices, managing IAM policies, securing cloud networking, enforcing encryption standards, and supporting CSPM/CNAPP initiatives. The role also involves monitoring cloud risks, strengthening security posture, and ensuring compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and MITRE ATT&CK.
Required Skill Set
Strong experience in AWS and/or Azure Cloud Security
Expertise in IAM (Identity & Access Management)
Knowledge of Cloud Networking & Security Architecture
Experience with Encryption technologies and key management
Hands-on experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools
Experience with WAF (Web Application Firewall) and DLP solutions
Understanding of security frameworks: NIST, CIS Benchmarks, MITRE ATT&CK
Knowledge of cloud vulnerability management and security monitoring
Experience with security logging, SIEM, and incident response
Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud compliance best practices
Preferred Skills
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Knowledge of container security (Docker/Kubernetes)
Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500, CISSP, or CCSP
Experience Level
Mid-Level Cloud Security Engineer
4–7 years of overall IT/Security experience with strong cloud security exposure
