Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in modern automation frameworks and testing tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery. The candidate should have solid experience with Playwright, Cucumber, and automation testing technologies within Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and other automation tools.

• Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks using Cucumber.

• Create reusable automation frameworks and improve existing automation suites.

• Execute automated test cases and analyze test results to identify defects.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing needs.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Report defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.

• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test execution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with a focus on Automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation.

• Experience implementing BDD frameworks using Cucumber.

• Proficiency in automation scripting using JavaScript / TypeScript / Java (depending on framework).

• Experience with test frameworks and automation best practices.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, or similar).

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API testing and automation.

• Experience with version control tools such as Git.

• Exposure to cloud environments or modern DevOps practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
