Summary

Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer

Location: Manteca CA - Onsite

Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration.
Proficiency with HP Aruba, Cisco, or Palo Alto platforms.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, 802.1Q tagging, and routing protocols.
Experience with firewall configuration and wireless network management.
Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure.

This position will be primarily responsible to:

Develop strategies and direction for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies.
Plan for and recommend network hardware and software upgrades that meet business needs, capacity, and compliance.
Create and maintain network diagrams and configuration documentation.
Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
Administer network access control solutions, such as ClearPass.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark.
Implement and enforce network security policies including firewall rules, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Manage IP addressing, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF) to ensure efficient and secure network segmentation.
Support hybrid cloud networking (Azure/AWS) including virtual networks, VPN gateways, and site-to-site connectivity.
Maintain core network services such as DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
