SAP HCM/HR Functional / Payroll Hands-on SME

Job Description

AP Payroll configuration, support, and implementation. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, troubleshooting, enhancements, and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.

Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll (PY) for country-specific payroll (e.g., US, India, EMEA).

 Execute end-to-end payroll cycles (regular, off-cycle, bonus runs).

 Maintain payroll schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), and wage types.

Validate payroll results and reconcile discrepancies

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Payroll schemas (e.g., X000, country-specific schemas)
• Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs)
• Wage type configuration and processing
• Info types related to payroll (IT0008, IT0014, IT0015, IT0169, etc.)

Debug payroll issues using tools like:

• Payroll log analysis
• Cluster tables (PCL2)
• Program RPCALCx0
