Summary

Role: AI Deployment Strategist

Location: New York, NY / San Francisco, CA

Our client is a fast-growing AI B2B fintech startup building software development tools for the financial services industry. They are seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to own customer deployments end-to-end — from kickoff through go-live — translating complex AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes for enterprise finance customers.

This is a high-ownership, client-facing role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and customer success — and wants to see their work running in production.

What You'll Do

Lead end-to-end AI deployments — discovery, workflow mapping, configuration, go-live, and adoption
Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders from frontline operators to executive sponsors
Collaborate closely with engineering and product, translating customer feedback into roadmap decisions
Troubleshoot product issues in the field, document edge cases, and drive resolution with engineering
Develop deep technical fluency in the product to become the go-to expert for customers

Key Requirements

2–5 years in management consulting (MBB, Big Four)
Owned customer-facing projects or implementations end-to-end
Strong analytical skills — tested via an Excel-based case study
Excellent client-facing presence and presentation skills with experience managing executive relationships
Background in financial services, fintech, or enterprise finance operations preferred
Strategy or ops experience at a tech company preferred
Familiarity and genuine interest in modern AI tools (e.g., Claude)
Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
MBA a plus for senior candidates with 4+ years of experience
