Summary

Job Title: Revenue Cycle Analyst / Epic PB Specialist

Location: Jackson, MS-Hybrid

Duration: 2 Years Contract

 

Job Summary

IRG Clients seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Analyst / Epic PB Specialist to support and optimize

revenue cycle operations across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise

in Epic Professional Billing (PB), third-party coverage discovery, claims adjudication, and revenue cycle

reporting. This role will collaborate closely with clinical and operational leadership to improve patient

responsibility collections, optimize reimbursement processes, and enhance revenue cycleperformance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review coverage discovery results for scheduled patient appointments to accurately determine patient financial responsibility.
  • Document insurance coverage and patient responsibility information appropriately within Epic.
  • Analyze trends in coverage discovery and point-of-service patient responsibility collections across 88 clinic locations.
  • Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to optimize collection of patient responsibility and third-party reimbursements.
  • Support revenue cycle operations through reporting, data analysis, workflow design, and end-user training.
  • Interpret Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) responses and troubleshoot coverage-related issues.
  • Collaborate with clearinghouses and third-party payers to resolve eligibility and claims issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical and operational leadership regarding coverage discovery, patient responsibility, and revenue cycle initiatives.
  • Assist with revenue cycle build, logic, and claims adjudication processes within Epic and related systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and training materials to support revenue cycle best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

 

Required Skills:

  • Epic PB experience, certification preferred
  • RHIA/RHIT/CPC certified required
  • revenue cycle reporting, build, logic, claims adjudication, data, and training
  • clearinghouse
  • Third party coverage discovery
  • RTE interpretation

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Public health, community health, physician clinic, FQHC, RHC revenue cycle experience
