Summary

The Operations Supervisor position will be responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of all pipeline systems supporting the Seminole, TX and Field Operations. This position will adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within the budget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is based in Seminole, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily facility operations to achieve production targets and track operational data to reduce issues and downtime.
  • Monitor the administration of company policy and standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluate employee performance and goal achievement.
  • Responsible for reviewing and implementing the expense and capital budgets.
  • Provides guidance to resolve operational problems as required.
  • Collaborated with shared service departments to ensure uniformity across business areas and enhance the benefits of all departments.
  • Supports capital projects through project commissioning activities.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and company policy
Special Considerations:
  • This position will be responsible for supporting the hiring and staffing process
  • Position subject to being on call 24 hours, 7 days per week.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies as required.
  • Position is subject to travel throughout Texas.


Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential job duty. The requirements for this position are listed below:
  • Broad and varied experience in the maintenance and operations of pipelines.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and simultaneously manage numerous activities.
  • Strong technical, operational, administrative, and maintenance judgment and decision-making skills are required.
  • Proven ability to manage large numbers of employees.
  • HS Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of crude terminal operations experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledgeable about regulatory guidelines from government agencies and the Incident Command System for emergency response.
  • Previous experience as Incident Commander.
  • Relative pipeline and tank terminal experience.
  • Experience in staffing and hiring field teams.
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
