Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst in Salt Lake City, UT.

Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to play a critical role in building and maintaining the data foundation that powers reporting, analytics, and business insights. This position focuses on integrating data from diverse source systems into modern data platforms, ensuring accuracy, quality, compliance, and usability.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data integration, or related disciplines
* Experience leading workstreams, projects, or mentoring team members
* Strong SQL and Python skills, either through professional experience or a strong academic background
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to gather requirements and work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

Technical Skills:
* Experience working with relational databases and large data sets
* Advanced SQL for data profiling, transformation, testing, and validation
* Python for data analysis, automation, and process improvement

Preferred:
* Exposure to modern data platforms and tools such as: Databricks; dbt; Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform); Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Operational Data Stores (ODS)
* Familiarity with AI concepts, generative AI tools, or prompt engineering
* Experience supporting enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
