Requirements:

2-5 years of experience

Ansible/YAML, IAC

Chef, Puppet are competitors

Python and Powershell

Perl and Bash are ok too

REST API experience

CI/CD pipeline experience - GitLab

Nice-to-Haves

Importing/transforming data from many sources such as for data warehousing

Cloud experience (AWS/Azure)

SQL query experience

Developing solutions in Oracle PL/SQL

Job Description: We are seeking a highly collaborative and technically driven team member to join our Agile scrum team. This team leverages Ansible to drive automated changes at scale, enabling efficient and consistent remediation for complex IT problems. By building and refining automation capabilities-including event-driven workflows-the team reduces operational overhead and delivers high-impact solutions across a wide range of internal customers. This role requires strong familiarity with Agile practices and hands-on experience using Jira, as each day begins with an in-depth team stand-up focused on sprint goals, priorities, and progress. After stand-up, you will independently execute your assigned work while partnering closely with teammates to ensure sprint commitments are met. This position involves extensive collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional stakeholders outside the immediate team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as the team collectively works to deliver solutions that support multiple internal customers.
