Description
We are looking for a skilled ERP/CRM Configuration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role will focus on optimizing procurement, inventory management, and master data governance processes within the machinery manufacturing industry. Based in Carrollton, Texas, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to system enhancement initiatives and ensure data integrity in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the configuration and optimization of ERP/CRM systems, focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, inventory management, and master data governance.
Conduct data cleansing and standardization to improve data quality and integrity across Material Master and Vendor Master records.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop enhancements, interfaces, and reports that address business needs.
Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to ensure seamless operations.
Prepare detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and user training materials to support system changes.
Drive integration efforts between ERP modules such as FI, SD, and PP to enhance system functionality.
Analyze and optimize procurement workflows, including purchase requests, purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to align system functionality with organizational goals.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on system processes and data management best practices.
Support S/4HANA data migration and stabilization initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
Extensive experience in ERP/CRM configuration, with a focus on SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay processes.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement optimization within industrial or manufacturing settings.
Proven expertise in master data governance, data cleansing, and data quality improvement.
Familiarity with S/4HANA data models and migration processes.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on system troubleshooting and process improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
