Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs Project Manager to support strategic and operational initiatives within the Medical Affairs organization. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, experience managing project budgets, and the ability to effectively communicate with Medical Affairs stakeholders. This role requires excellent coordination skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a solid understanding of Medical Affairs processes within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Medical Affairs projects from initiation through execution and completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies while providing regular status updates.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate meetings, governance activities, and executive communications.
• Facilitate collaboration between Medical Affairs, Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and other functional teams.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
• Support process improvements and operational excellence initiatives within Medical Affairs.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience working with Medical Affairs organizations in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong project planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Medical Affairs teams and understand Medical Affairs terminology and workflows.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
