Lab49 is seeking a seniorProduct & Engagement Leaderto own the success of complex, highstakes financial services initiatives for finance clients. This role combinesproduct strategy and leadershipwithfull engagement ownership: including outcomes, financials, governance, and longterm client trust.

In this role, you do not simply manage a roadmap or facilitate delivery. Youwrap your arms around the entire engagement: defining and executing product strategy, leading crossfunctional teams, ensuring operational and financial rigor, and serving as the single accountable owner for client success.

You will operate at the intersection ofproduct excellence, delivery execution, and commercial stewardship, acting as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders while protecting both client value and Lab49's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Define, own, and executeproduct strategy and roadmapsfor complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and contractual commitments
  • >

  • Lead thefull product lifecyclefrom discovery through delivery, balancing strategic vision with execution discipline
  • >

  • Translate complex financial services concepts, workflows, and data intoclear product requirements and usercentered solutions in collaboration with UX and engineering teams
  • >

  • Applydatadriven decisionmaking and hypothesisled developmentto optimize product outcomes, delivery effectiveness, and client satisfaction
  • >

End-to-End Engagement Ownership

  • Act as thesingle accountable ownerfor engagement success across delivery, product outcomes, financials, and client satisfaction
  • >

  • Own and operate within theMSA, current SOW, and prior SOWs, ensuring scope clarity, expectation alignment, and value realization
  • >

  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies across product, delivery, resourcing, access, and finance and resolve them with clear mitigation plans
  • >

  • Ensure nothing blocks delivery momentum, invoicing accuracy, or executive decisionmaking
  • >

Delivery & Governance Leadership

  • Lead crossfunctional, agile delivery teams while maintaining clear priorities, shared outcomes, and predictable execution
  • >

  • Establish and manage delivery cadence, operating rhythms, and governance forums
  • >

  • Prepare and present executivelevel materials that communicate a coherent, compelling story across progress, risks, financials, and resourcing
  • >

  • Navigate ambiguity and changing priorities while maintaining alignment to agreed success criteria
  • >

  • Run the engagement withP&Llevel ownership, including utilization, forecasting, burn management, invoicing, and margin protection
  • >

  • Understand and manage the commercial implications of delivery decisions, scope changes, and staffing adjustments
  • >

Qualifications:

Experience & Background

  • 7+ yearsof Product Management experience, including senior roles leading complex initiatives
  • >

  • 5+ yearsof experience in financial services, with strong familiarity with asset management workflows, personas, and domain constraints
  • >

  • Demonstrated success owningendtoend product delivery in complex, regulated environments
  • >

  • Proven experience operating in aclientfacing, consultative role, balancing delivery, strategy, and commercial considerations
  • >

  • Strong product instincts paired withoperational and financial rigor

  • Ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders across organizations

  • Deep comfort translating betweenbusiness strategy, financial concepts, and technical execution

Domain Expertise (Preferred)

  • Asset management industry experience, including:

  • Investment vehicles and portfolio management processes

  • Front, middle, and backoffice technology platforms

  • Strong technical foundation in financial systems architecture, data platforms, and analytics

The base salary range is - $180,000 - $220,000

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role and level. We are hiring across multiple levels for this job.

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.

Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
