Description:
Hybrid Every other week onsite in either Merrimack, NH or Smithfield, RI

The organization is undertaking a high-visibility, multi-year modernization of client-facing trading platforms. The engagement is long term and renewable, with opportunities to influence architecture, mentor peers, and drive continuous improvement.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise web and middle-tier applications focused on APIs and web services.
  • Enhance and rewrite Angular components and TypeScript code for client-facing platforms.
  • Build and maintain RESTful services and integrations using JSON, XML, and SOAP.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to plan, implement, and improve technical solutions and processes.
  • Present technical solutions and plans to stakeholders and mentor team members.
  • Work with cloud and container platforms for application deployment and management as needed.

Experience Requirements:
  • 6+ years of full stack development building enterprise web and middle-tier applications with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, TypeScript, and Angular, with emphasis on middle-tier and API development.
  • Strong knowledge of web services including REST, JSON, XML, and SOAP.
  • Experience with CI/CD, maintaining pipelines, and automated testing using Jenkins and related tools.
  • Experience using GitHub and pull requests for collaborative development.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation strategies.
  • Leadership experience guiding and mentoring engineers.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment and management (preferred).
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot (preferred).
  • Experience with Kafka (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • AWS certification (preferred).
