In the role of CAD Technician Intern, we'll count on you to:
- Gain real-world experience on exciting projects
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software.
- Develop details for complex concrete and steel bridges which may include: prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, steel plate girder, and truss systems.
- Work on typical projects for highway or pedestrian bridges.
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications - Prefer current enrollment in CADD Technology or Undergraduate/Graduate Engineering Program
- Prefer 6+months to 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
QualificationsRequired Qualifications - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
