Job Overview:
S2Tech is supporting a large-scale Eligibility & Enrollment modernization effort for the State of Missouri, in collaboration with a global systems integrator. This initiative includes workflow redesign, citizen engagement (CE) functionality, and transition toward a modernized platform architecture (including ServiceNow). We are seeking an experienced Curam Solution Architect to support current-state system understanding, transition planning, and integration with future-state platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as technical SME for Curam-based eligibility systems, including architecture, design, and integration
- Analyze current-state eligibility systems (e.g., MEDES / Curam-based platforms) and identify constraints and modernization opportunities
- Support transition planning from legacy eligibility platforms to future-state solutions (e.g., ServiceNow / modular architecture)
- Define integration patterns and APIs between Curam and external systems (MMIS, federal data sources, identity verification, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on:
- Workflow redesign
- Citizen engagement functionality
- Data exchange and verification requirements
- Support H.R.1-driven changes, including:
- Work requirements tracking
- Eligibility redeterminations
- Enhanced verification processes
- Provide input into solution architecture, technical roadmap, and implementation planning
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with IBM Curam (now Merative Curam)
- Experience as a Solution Architect or Technical SME on eligibility systems
- Strong knowledge of:
- Medicaid / public assistance eligibility systems
- MAGI eligibility, SNAP, TANF (preferred)
- Experience with:
- System integration (APIs, data exchanges)
- Large-scale government system modernization efforts
- Ability to work in a multi-vendor, SI-led environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations or transformation initiatives
- Experience with cloud migration / modular architectures (MES)
- Prior experience with the Missouri DSS / MEDES / MME ecosystem
- Familiarity with federal compliance requirements (CMS, H.R.1, etc.)
