Summary

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legacy Systems Engineer to support and maintain critical legacy platforms including OpenVMS, CorVision, TOLAS, RDB, and WMS. This role will act as the subject matter expert (SME) responsible for ensuring system stability, operational continuity, and supporting enterprise applications during the organization’s modernization transition.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as SME for OpenVMS systems, including system operations and support.
Develop and maintain DCL scripts and support legacy applications.
Maintain and support applications built with CorVision and HP Basic.
Support enterprise interfaces and processes related to TOLAS (Transcomm Online Accounting System).
Monitor and manage batch jobs and scheduling tools such as Control-M.
Provide documentation, troubleshooting, and operational support for legacy systems.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high system availability and reliability.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in OpenVMS systems.
3+ years of experience with CorVision, TOLAS, RDB, or WMS.
4+ years of experience in system operations, DCL scripting, and legacy application support.
Strong SQL experience with Oracle or RDB.
Experience managing production systems and batch-driven environments.
Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
