Core Responsibilities

Modernization: Migrate legacy desktop application modules to a cloud-hosted web environment.
Development: Design and develop robust ASP.Net web services and applications using Visual Studio .Net.
Leadership: Take ownership of assigned modules and provide mentorship and guidance to other contractors.
Database Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries; work within Oracle RDBMS environments.
Collaboration: Work alongside lead developers to ensure architectural consistency and best practices.

Technical Requirements

Primary Skills (Required 6+ Years):

Frameworks: Expert knowledge of .NET Framework (C# and Visual Basic).
Web Technologies: Advanced experience with ASP.Net, MVC, and Web Services.
Front-End: Proficiency in HTML, XML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
Scripting/Validation: Heavy experience with jQuery and jQuery Unobtrusive Validation.
Database: Strong background in Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Version Control: Deep experience with TFS and GIT.

Additional Experience:

Desktop Legacy (Required 3+ Years): Practical experience with WinForms and WPF Forms to facilitate the migration process.
Modern Libraries (Desired 3+ Years): Experience with Angular or React is highly preferred.
