Title: Associate Business Systems Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 or Remote

Overview
The Associate Business Systems Analyst supports the translation of business requirements into technical specifications while analyzing and validating data throughout the lifecycle of complex legal cases. This role is ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills, working knowledge of SQL, and strong communication abilities who want to grow in a data focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and statements of work
• Design data mappings and transformations to support ETL processes
• Query and analyze data using Excel, Access, and SQL Server
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
• Serve as liaison between Client Services and technical teams including Data Analysts and developers
• Partner with Technical Project Managers to track project tasks and timelines
• Support user acceptance testing and collaborate with QC teams on testing strategies
• Monitor production workflows, identify issues, and coordinate resolution
• Document requirements, business rules, and processes
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and maintain accurate project time tracking
Required Skills
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational data structures
• Ability to translate complex business rules into technical requirements
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non technical stakeholders
• Experience facilitating meetings and working with cross functional teams
• Strong attention to detail in compliance focused environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
• Four year degree or equivalent experience
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Process Specialist, or similar role involving requirements gathering
• Familiarity with relational databases and moderately complex SQL logic
• Basic understanding of data modeling and ETL concepts preferred
• Ability to manage shifting priorities in a deadline driven environment
