Keep Critical Operations RunningSelect Sires, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our production operations team in Plain City, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving facilities, equipment, and infrastructure that support the production of industry-leading dairy and beef genetics. This position helps ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations throughout the organization.
Work Schedule- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, or emergency call-in work may be required
- Work schedules and responsibilities may be adjusted to support production and business needs
What You\'ll Do- Perform preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and operational issues.
- Support production equipment reliability and performance.
- Complete facility and grounds maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
- Assist with facility improvement and capital projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
- Respond to maintenance requests and production support needs.
- Follow all safety procedures, maintenance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, agricultural operations, facilities maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, welding, plumbing, or related trades.
- Technical certifications, vocational training, or maintenance-related education.
Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding environments.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, equipment, and materials.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
- Safely work around production equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
