Position OverviewThe Help Desk Support Specialist provides frontline technical assistance to end users, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal disruption to daily operations. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving Tier 1 and select Tier 2 technical problems, while escalating more complex issues to senior team members or specialized support groups. The specialist works closely with the support team to maintain smooth system functionality and deliver high-quality customer service.
Typical Responsibilities- Monitor incoming support tickets and issue queues
- Respond to user inquiries via email, phone, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 technical issues related to hardware, software, and user access
- Escalate higher-tier issues to senior support staff or appropriate technical teams
- Document solutions, update knowledge base articles, and maintain standard procedures
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend corrective actions
- Participate in team projects and system improvement initiatives as needed

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
