\n - Location: Newark, DE/Northern Delaware locations
\n - Schedule: Full-time; no weekends or holidays
\n - Compensation: $27 $40/hour
\n - No weekends/Holidays!
\n
\n
Position overview:
\n
The Radiologic Technologist will provide outpatient orthopaedic imaging services, perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, apply radiation-safety principles, and evaluate images for technical quality. This is a patient-facing position within a busy orthopaedic practice.
\n
Requirements:
\n
\n - ARRT registration
\n - Active Delaware Radiologic Technologist license
\n - Experience working with PACS systems
\n - Strong patient-care and customer-service skills
\n - Ability to position and assist patients, including lifting or supporting patients when necessary
\n - Ability to work professionally with physicians, patients, and other staff members
\n
\n
Responsibilities include:
\n
\n - Performing diagnostic X-rays using the PACS system
\n - Reviewing clinical information before examinations
\n - Preparing the X-ray room and explaining procedures to patients
\n - Positioning patients and adjusting equipment to obtain quality images
\n - Modifying standard views when a patient s condition requires it
\n - Following radiation-protection procedures
\n - Reviewing images for quality before saving them to the patient s file
\n - Updating the EMR and PACS
\n - Maintaining a clean, organized imaging area
\n - Assisting with supplies, braces, equipment sterilization, and other departmental needs
\n
