Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: New York, NY(100% Remote)

Contract Role(C2C/W2)

Job Description:

We re looking for a passionate Java Backend Developer to join our team and help build high-performance, scalable, and innovative backend systems.

What you'll do:
Design and develop robust backend services & APIs (REST/GraphQL)
Work on scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
Collaborate closely with product & engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and engineering excellence
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth

What we re looking for:
5+ years of experience in backend development
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Microservices
Experience with Distributed Systems, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Google Cloud Platform
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms & system design
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

Bonus points:
Thrive in ambiguity and love solving complex problems
Have built and scaled high-availability systems
Are curious about emerging technologies, including AI/ML
