GIS Consultant

Job Title : Associate Consultant -GIS    
Location: Onsite all over the USA     

Responsibilities     
We are seeking a motivated Associate GIS Consultant with strong foundational knowledge in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), especially with Esri technologies, to support GIS solution development, analysis, and implementation for our enterprise clients. Candidates should be passionate about applying GIS concepts to real world enterprise challenges.
The Associate GIS Consultant will support senior team members and contribute to GIS implementation activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist in designing, configuring, and deploying GIS solutions using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online.
Participate in client workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution demonstrations.
Perform spatial data preparation, data modeling, data validation, and basic geoprocessing tasks.
Support creation of AS IS / TO BE process documentation and help identify functional requirements.
Assist in preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, and test plans.
Build and maintain web maps, dashboards, and simple web applications using Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS Experience Builder, or ArcGIS Online tools.
Support integration and testing activities with enterprise systems.
Provide support during deployment, go live, and post production phases.
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including developers, solution architects, and QA analysts.
Research emerging GIS tools and best practices to contribute to solution improvements.

Skills Required    
Strong academic background in GIS, Cartography, Spatial Analysis, or related fields. 
Hands-on experience (through coursework or projects) with: 
Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise
Web mapping concepts and spatial data management
Geodatabases, feature services, and geoprocessing tools
Familiarity with scripting using Python (ArcPy or ArcGIS API for Python preferred). 
Understanding location analytics, spatial data models, and GIS workflows. 
Basic exposure to web GIS technologies (JavaScript API, HTML/CSS) is a plus. 
Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving abilities. 
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.

Qualification    
Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems (MS GIS) 
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field.
