Job Description:
Business Systems Analyst III

Location: Burbank, California (Remote)

Duration: 9 months

Role Overview

The main function of this role is to assist the team and key stakeholders with tasks related to applications and business processes. This includes improving business processes and aligning key metrics for the applications and integrations that are part of the Enterprise Systems and Services, Talent & Deal Management Solutions team. A major component of this effort will be to serve as the functional project manager of a system migration from SAP to Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with personnel from multiple business units including Rights, Business Affairs and Production finance teams to understand, gather, and document business requirements.
  • Evaluate the current support model, identify areas for improvement, and update existing documentation to reflect the new model.
  • Identify, update, and migrate key documentation from a legacy SharePoint site to a new site.
  • Develop new support team process documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Serve as the primary project manager for an ongoing system migration from SAP CRM to a custom-built Salesforce application.
  • Participate in process improvement and re-engineering efforts to ensure technology solutions align with enterprise direction.
  • Build diagrams representing as-is (current state) and target (future state) architecture.
  • Provide business analysis support for system migrations, consolidations, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Assist in establishing and coordinating the system migration project plan for implementation and cutover.
  • Create Functional Specifications and Design documents.
  • Communicate complex finance and rights management concepts to the offshore technical team.
  • Review proposed technical designs for feasibility and to ensure they meet end-user requirements.
  • Perform Functional Acceptance and System Integration testing.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and obtain user sign-off on fixes and enhancements.
  • Assist with developing and defining new and improved workflows and initiatives.
  • Provide training materials and end-user training for new processes.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 4+ years of prior experience in a related field (media, entertainment, business development).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with SAP Finance or Rights Management.
  • Experience developing data models using Visio, Lucid Charts and/or Miro.
  • Working knowledge of configuration or development in an enterprise ERP system (SAP, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft Financials, Workday Financials, etc.).
  • Experience working with SaaS, PaaS, Custom, and 3rd Party applications.


Education:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Electronics, Management, or a related technical field.
