We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a software development team operating under Scrum Agile with a two-week sprint cadence. The Scrum Master will facilitate all Agile ceremonies, manage the team's Jira board and workflow, and help ensure the team remains focused, aligned, and continuously improving. This role also includes light technical responsibilities to support the team's systems engineering needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage and maintain the team's Jira board, ensuring tasks are properly tracked, organized, and updated throughout each sprint.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to maintain a clear and actionable product backlog.
  • Support the team by identifying and removing impediments.
  • Coach team members in Agile principles and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Track and communicate sprint progress and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Perform light systems engineering tasks such as coordinating server certifications and executing basic AWS-related activities.
  • Conduct product demos for stakeholders and assist in manual testing of features to ensure functionality and user readiness.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
  • Professional experience serving as a Scrum Master for a technical development team.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum Agile practices, frameworks, and ceremonies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira for task, workflow, and sprint management.
  • Ability to perform basic technical tasks including server certification coordination and light AWS work.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting systems engineering or DevOps-related activities.
  • Familiarity with manual testing practices and demonstration delivery.
  • Experience in mission-focused or secure environments.

Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
