Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SCCM Engineer to lead enterprise endpoint management, software deployment, patch management, and systems administration initiatives across a large-scale IT environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) / MECM, Windows infrastructure, automation, and endpoint security.

This role requires a senior-level professional who can architect, implement, and optimize endpoint management solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with infrastructure, security, and desktop support teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead administration and optimization of SCCM / MECM infrastructure across enterprise environments
  • Design and manage OS deployments, imaging, task sequences, and device provisioning
  • Manage monthly patching cycles, security updates, and compliance reporting
  • Deploy software packages, applications, and enterprise updates globally
  • Integrate SCCM with Intune / Co-Management / Autopilot solutions
  • Troubleshoot client health, distribution points, boundaries, and performance issues
  • Create automation scripts using PowerShell for deployment and reporting tasks
  • Manage endpoint security policies, BitLocker, Defender integrations, and compliance standards
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams for vulnerability remediation
  • Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational processes
  • Provide mentorship to junior administrators and technical guidance to support teams
  • Participate in upgrade, migration, and cloud transformation initiatives

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in SCCM / MECM Administration
  • Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Expertise in OSD, Task Sequences, Imaging, PXE Boot
  • Experience in Patch Management / WSUS / Compliance Reporting
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune / Co-management
  • Knowledge of endpoint security tools and enterprise best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

 Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Intune MDM / Autopilot experience
  • VMware / Citrix environment exposure
  • ITIL process knowledge
  • Microsoft certifications preferred

 Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
