Software Engineer II - Full Stack Developer (Java, Spring Boot, React)
About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software systems that power business-critical applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, contribute to technical design discussions, and drive engineering excellence through modern development practices.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Write clean, maintainable, secure, and efficient code following engineering best practices and coding standards.
  • Build end-to-end solutions with a strong understanding of application architecture, system interactions, APIs, databases, and network communication.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using a structured debugging and root-cause analysis approach.
  • Improve application reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence through monitoring and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote engineering quality.
  • Leverage SDLC tools, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices to accelerate software delivery.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify issues, optimize system performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to system design discussions and help evaluate technology choices for new and existing platforms.
  • Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and respectful engineering culture.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • 2+ years of experience building modern web applications using React.js or comparable frontend frameworks.
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and database concepts.
  • Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-grade software applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and system integration patterns.
  • Ability to explain and troubleshoot application workflows across multiple layers, including UI, API, database, and network.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, version control systems, and agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerized deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as Kafka, Cassandra, Terraform, and REST-based services.
  • Exposure to application performance testing and monitoring tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, security best practices, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend ecosystems including React, Angular, TypeScript, and related technologies.
  • Interest or exposure to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cloud-native development.
