Location: Charlotte, NC (300 S Brevard St) - Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Contract Length: 12mo

Pay Rate: $46 - $49
Top Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience coordinating technology, cybersecurity, risk, or application delivery activities
  • Experience managing assessment intake, scheduling, readiness validation, status tracking, and stakeholder communication
  • Familiarity with the application security assessment lifecycle including testing, findings review, remediation, retesting, and reporting
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities
  • Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, and reporting tools
  • Plusses
    • Application Security, Risk Management, or Security Service Delivery experience
    • Knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation workflows
    • Experience with governance, compliance, and audit reporting
    • Agile delivery and backlog management experience
    Job Summary

    In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Technology Business Systems Consulting while supporting the Perimeter Research & Application Penetration Testing (PRAPT) team. This role is responsible for coordinating application security assessments throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring successful onboarding, readiness validation, testing coordination, remediation tracking, retesting, and governance reporting.

    The consultant will serve as the primary liaison among application teams, penetration testers, Application Security Champions, cybersecurity teams, and technology partners to ensure assessments remain on schedule and compliance requirements are met.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities
    • Coordinate application security assessment intake, readiness, and scheduling activities
    • Collect and validate architecture diagrams, supporting documentation, business context, and assessment inputs
    • Confirm testing readiness, including:
      • Test accounts
      • Environment access
      • Required documentation
      • Designated contacts
    • Facilitate communication between:
      • Application Teams
      • Penetration Testers
      • Application Security Champions
      • Technology Partners
      • Cybersecurity Teams
    • Monitor assessment progress and provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership
    • Track risks, scope changes, dependencies, remediation efforts, and closure activities
    • Coordinate findings review sessions and post-assessment debrief meetings
    • Manage remediation tracking and escalation of overdue findings
    • Coordinate retest requests through ServiceNow AVR and AI testing processes
    • Support governance, compliance, audit, and executive reporting
    • Create and maintain documentation, meeting notes, status reports, and operational metrics
    • Manage Agile work intake, ticket workflows, capacity planning, and reporting activities
