Project OverviewWe are modernizing our legacy SQL Server data environment and migrating to a modern cloud-based architecture leveraging
Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Databricks, and optimized SQL Server.
To support this initiative, we are hiring
three Data Engineers, each with a distinct area of expertise:
- 1 Snowflake expert
- 1 Azure Data Lake expert
- 1 SQL Server expert (with strong performance tuning experience)
All candidates should ideally have experience with
Databricks.
The selected Data Engineers will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, ensure high data quality, and support advanced analytics across the organization.
Ideal Candidate Background- Workforce Planning experience is a strong plus.
- Backgrounds in modern cloud data ecosystems, enterprise data engineering, and large-scale data migrations are highly desirable.
Top Required Skills (with expected experience)Snowflake / Azure Data Lake / SQL Server (role-dependent)- 5+ years hands-on experience in the primary technology area
Performance tuning & query optimization- 3-5 years of experience optimizing large, complex datasets
Databricks (preferred for all)What Will Set Candidates Apart- Ability to provide architectural guidance, make recommendations, and help steer the team in the right direction.
- Deep experience with modern cloud data best practices and migration strategies.
Team Structure- The Data Engineers will collaborate with a cross-functional team of 10+ team members and customers, including analysts, developers, architects, and leadership.
