Job Description:

• Gap Assessment of Pearlcare’s Oracle Goldengate integration and DR architecture; develop cloud-native design and architecture approach.
• Verify and execute up to four (4) security scripts and health checks on Oracle Golden Gate.
• Coordination with the Customer security team to identify, track and troubleshoot.
• Document relevant compliance information.
• The role is essentially an Oracle GoldenGate / Database DR specialist working alongside your Azure and Zerto architects.
• The core skills are: Oracle GoldenGate administration and architecture — understanding extract/replicat processes, replication topology, and integration patterns well enough to assess an existing estate and identify gaps. Underlying Oracle Database knowledge supports this, since GoldenGate sits on the database layer.
• DR and cloud-native solution design — translating an on-prem GoldenGate setup into an Azure-based DR target, and collaborating on RPO/RTO alignment with the broader Zerto-based DR design.
• Scripting and operational health-checks — ability to verify and execute the security scripts and run GoldenGate health/diagnostic checks (SQL plus shell scripting).
• Security and compliance coordination — working with the customer''s security team to identify, track, and troubleshoot issues, and documenting compliance information clearly.
