Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio / Boomi ETL Developer to support enterprise data modernization initiatives, specifically focused on migrating legacy data platforms to cloud-based architectures. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines using Ab Initio and Dell Boomi, ensuring seamless data integration, transformation, and high-performance processing across hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in large-scale data migration, data quality, and cloud integration frameworks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Ab Initio and Boomi integration platform
• Analyze legacy data systems and define migration strategies to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Build scalable data ingestion and transformation workflows for structured and semi-structured data
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation during migration cycles
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability in distributed environments
• Integrate APIs, SaaS applications, and cloud services using Boomi AtomSphere
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance throughout the ETL lifecycle
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes
• Collaborate with data architects, cloud engineers, and business stakeholders
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment for ETL workflows
• Document data flows, technical designs, and migration processes

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Ab Initio.
• Hands-on experience with Dell Boomi (AtomSphere, integrations, APIs)
• Expertise in ETL/ELT design, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration
• Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience handling large-volume data and batch processing
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of cloud data services (S3, Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, BigQuery)
• API integration, REST/SOAP services, and event-driven architectures
• Strong UNIX/Linux shell scripting
• Knowledge of Python or Java for data processing is a plus
• Experience in legacy system modernization and data migration projects
• Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (Autosys, Control-M).
