Application Engineer (Python, Angular, API, Cloud, Snowflake )Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated
Application Engineer to join our development team. This role is ideal for a hands-on software developer who enjoys building, testing, and delivering production-quality applications. The successful candidate will possess strong software engineering fundamentals, practical coding experience, and the ability to work across application, API, and cloud-based environments.
This is not an architecture or consulting-focused position. We are seeking an engineer who actively develops solutions, writes code, creates automated tests, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications and services.
- Front End Development in Angular
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and related technologies.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and adequate test coverage.
- Build and support APIs, backend services, and cloud-based application components.
- Utilize Git-based version control processes including branching, committing, pull requests, push/pull operations, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Contribute to database design, optimization, and performance tuning efforts.
- Support deployment and operational activities across development and production environments.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and development best practices.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests and automated testing frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Git and source control management practices.
- Experience developing APIs and backend services.
- Understanding of database concepts, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.
- Experience working within modern cloud-based development environments.
- Ability to independently design, code, test, and deliver software solutions.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to front-end technologies and modern web application frameworks.
- Experience in enterprise-scale application development environments.
