Business Systems Analyst I (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to join their team. This is a hybrid position in San Diego, CA. This role will be on site 3X per week.

Duties Include:
* Utilize big data analytics tools such as Qlik Sense and SQL in order to pull relevant information to make recommendations and informed business decisions
* Leverage data assets to develop business hypotheses and proactively bring new business opportunities to the attention of leaders
* Independently identify insights-based business opportunities, lead or partner on initiative design, overseeing initiative execution, and tracking business outcomes
* Apply business acumen and analytical skills to provide direction at each phase of various business initiatives they support
* Communicate insights and collaborate across data teams to drive broader data improvements
* Support strategy planning by synthesizing external industry intelligence, benchmarking, and internal data into actionable insights and recommendations
* Translate simple business requirements into project milestones and deliverables, and create and oversee dashboards to report progress toward goals
* Advanced statistical analytics to develop risk strategies and solutions
* Perform advanced data analytics to integrate and analyze existing data to build quantitative financial risk policies for the client payment products
* Responsible for interacting with and addressing employees at all levels in a professional manner

REQUIREMENTS:
* Developed Reports and Dashboards in Qlik Sense reporting tool
* Pursued data quality defects, troubleshooted issues related to data validation, and resolved issues and bugs in the Reports and Dashboards
* Worked in Oracle, DataBricks and SQL analysis tools for developing SQL scripts used for data migration and automated data loading in Relational Database systems
* Developed SQL Queries/Scripts to validate the Completeness, Integrity and Accuracy of Data within an ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) process
* Partnered with business owners within and outside Technical and Business teams to enable decision support and key business insights through Automated Reporting and help the team to automate processes and reports
* Verifying the initial and daily load of ETL jobs, debugging, and scheduling ETL Jobs/Mappings and monitoring error logs
* Working with Business SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to revisit/redefine/reengineer Business processes, and requirements gathering sessions, building the requirements repository, and gap analysis between the as-is and to-be systems supporting the Business processes
* Gathered, analyzed, and created all types of requirements documents for technical solution projects
* Must be completely proficient in Microsoft Office
* Interpersonal communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
