Please note, in particular, we need someone that is very familiar with BGP/OSPF, vlans, spine leaf architecture, hybrid cloud, firewalls, etc. Candidate should know Network architecture planning.
Role Summary:
Senior Infrastructure & Network Architect responsible for designing and governing enterprise network and infrastructure solutions, with a primary focus on core networking (BGP/OSPF), data center architecture, and hybrid cloud connectivity, along with working knowledge of observability and infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect scalable, secure network solutions across DC, WAN, and hybrid cloud environments
• Own architecture for routing & switching (BGP, OSPF), VLAN segmentation, and firewall design
• Lead data center architecture initiatives including spine-leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, and DC consolidation/migration
• Define and implement hybrid cloud networking (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) including VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and interconnects
• Provide architectural guidance for network monitoring, observability, and performance optimization
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and drive modernization, resiliency, reliability and capacity improvements
• Collaborate with infra, security, and application teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability
• Define migration strategies and lead complex cutover events with minimal business disruption.
• Hands-on experience with open-source networking and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch (ELK), or Nagios
• Familiarity with Linux-based networking environments and troubleshooting across open-source stacks
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting for network/infrastructure provisioning
• Exposure to open-source SDN / networking technologies (e.g., Open vSwitch, ONAP, Kubernetes networking, CNI plugins)
• Experience integrating cloud-native and open-source monitoring solutions in hybrid cloud environments
• Exposure to container networking (Docker/Kubernetes) and its impact on enterprise network architecture
• Familiarity with community-driven standards, APIs, and open networking frameworks
