TIBCO Job Description / Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation:
Design, provision, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, etc.).
Define and implement infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Establish networking, security, and governance standards aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Set up CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
Kubernetes Platform Engineering
Deploy, configure, and operate Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters in production.
Manage containerization strategies and support the migration of workloads to Kubernetes.
Implement Kubernetes best practices: namespace management, RBAC, pod security policies, autoscaling (HPA/VPA/Cluster Autoscaler), and resource quotas.
Integrate observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch Container Insights, Fluentd/Fluent Bit).
Maintain Helm charts and manage deployments through GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux).
TIBCO On-Prem to Cloud Migration
Conduct discovery and assessment of the existing TIBCO on-premises infrastructure including TIBCO Business Works, EMS, and/or Spotfire components
Collaborate with application and integration teams to map data flows, dependencies, and integration patterns.
Identify cloud-native or managed alternatives for TIBCO components where relevant (e.g., Amazon MQ, MSK, Event Bridge). Must-Have Skills & Experience:
10+ years of hands-on experience architecting and managing AWS infrastructure in production environments.
Strong Kubernetes expertise: 3+ years managing EKS or self-managed clusters in production.
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code: Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
Experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
Solid understanding of networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Helm, container registries).
Ability to investigate and reverse-engineer existing middleware architectures with minimal documentation.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with architecture, development, and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with TIBCO products: BusinessWorks, EMS (Enterprise Message Service), Spotfire, or TIBCO Cloud.
Experience migrating or decommissioning on-premises middleware to cloud-native solutions.
Knowledge of cloud-native messaging/integration services: Amazon MQ, MSK (Kafka), SQS/SNS, EventBridge.
Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
Exposure to service mesh technologies (Istio, AWS App Mesh).
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).
