Core Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of DB2 architecture, performance tuning, HA/DR, and upgrade strategies to support engineering and operational activities.
Core Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of DB2 Warehousing (CDW) architecture and Support
Transformation & Migration: Support DB2 workload transformation and migration to AWS RDS, including schema, data, and application compatibility assessments.
Engineering & Automation: Execute platform engineering tasks such as standardization, configuration hardening, and operational readiness; automation experience using Python/Ansible is a strong advantage.

Technical Expertise & Platform Capability:

Demonstrated experience supporting DB2 UDB, Sybase, Oracle, and MS SQL environments
Depth of knowledge in database architecture, performance tuning, and HA/DR
Proven success in complex enterprise database environments
Strong automation skillset using Python and Ansible

Cloud Transformation & Migration Experience:

Hands-on experience with on-prem to AWS RDS migrations
Capability to support schema, data, and application transformation
Experience with modernization and platform decommissioning

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence:

Incident management, problem resolution, and SLA adherence
Ability to maintain high availability and system reliability
Quality and consistency of operational processes
