Software Developer - BizTalk to .NET Modernization

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis & Assessment: Analyze existing BizTalk artifacts (pipelines, schemas, maps, orchestrations) and document their functionality to create a migration roadmap.
• Migration & Re-engineering: Re-engineer complex integration workflows from BizTalk into modern .NET APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and serverless functions.
• Development: Rebuild data mappings and business rules into reusable .NET libraries or cloud-native components.
• API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful services and Web APIs to replace SOAP-based or legacy BizTalk messaging scenarios.
• Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure no regressions during migration.
• Debugging & Optimization: Troubleshoot issues in both existing BizTalk systems and the new .NET environment.
• Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for the new architecture, including data flow diagrams and interface specifications.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, system owners, and stakeholders to define technical specifications and requirements.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in BizTalk software development (including orchestration, schema, map, and pipeline design).
• Migration Experience: Proven experience in BizTalk modernization or migration projects.
• Modernization Target: Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps Standard/Consumption, Azure Service Bus).
• Core Integration Skills: Expert knowledge of XML, XSLT, XSD, WCF, and REST APIs.
• Database: Strong SQL Server skills, including Stored Procedures, XML/JSON transformation, and data mapping.
• Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or TFS for source control and CI/CD.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and AS2 protocols.
• Experience with Azure API Management and Azure Functions.
