WMS Solution Architect (Manhattan or blue yonder)

We are seeking an experienced WMS Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions for large-scale distribution and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in warehouse processes, solution architecture, system integrations, and end-to-end WMS implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and solution design for enterprise WMS platforms.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to inbound, outbound, inventory, fulfillment, labor management, and warehouse automation.
• Design scalable WMS solutions aligned with operational and business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, ERP, transportation, integration, and infrastructure teams.
• Define system integration architecture between WMS, ERP, TMS, OMS, automation systems, and third-party applications.
• Support configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
• Conduct solution workshops, architecture reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Provide guidance on warehouse process optimization and best practices.
• Create technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and solution design documents.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies during project execution.
• Support data migration, interface validation, and performance tuning activities.
• Work with implementation partners and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Warehouse Management solutions.
• 4+ years of experience as a WMS Solution Architect or Lead Consultant.
• Strong experience with one or more WMS platforms manhattan, or Blue yonder 
• Deep understanding of warehouse operations including:
• Experience designing integrations using APIs, EDI, middleware, or message queues.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and supply chain ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud and enterprise architecture concepts.
• Ability to lead client discussions and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
